If you're in the market for a used MajorMUD system we strongly 
recommend checking with us first to verify that it is a legitimate 
licensed copy. 

Although we will do everything we can to help stop people from 
selling pirated systems or selling duplicate systems we are not 
the ones to bear the risk.

You run the risk of buying pirated or hexed software with no 
support from Metropolis when buying without checking the 
validity of the software.

Even though eBay is a reputable company, not all the copies on 
there are legit - eBay has no way of verifying themselves if 
someone is selling stolen software. 

Sysops please notify us if you plan on selling your system on 
eBay or by other means. 

Buyers please verify the MajorMUD system before purchasing. 
It can save you a lot of headaches, time and money.

If you are buying or selling a MajorMUD system please fill out 
the Metropolis Transfer of License Agreement form at
http://www.majormud.com/transfers/ and return it by fax 
or by US Postal Mail.

If a transfer is made without the Metropolis Transfer of License 
Agreement it will not be recognized by Metropolis Inc. and you 
will not receive technical support.

It has been reported that some one is defrauding people by offering 
to make them legit thru a "worldgroupware" paypal account, and may be 
using a [email protected] email address to make people think he is
Don Barr.  

BE ADVISED THIS IS NOT WORLDGROUPWARE OR DON BARR!  The ONLY way you 
should be contacting worldgroupware is through their system - by 
email to [email protected] or via their direct phone number 
(410) 850-9019.  

If you have purchased any Worldgroup upgrades or taken any offer 
to "get legit" via a paypal to "worldgroupware", please contact me 
immediately.
